Approve Municipal Accommodation Tax update and Destination Pickering organizational by-law

Resolution # 886/25 Moved By Councillor Brenner Seconded By Councillor Cook That Report ECD 09-25 regarding an Update on the Municipal Accommodation Tax and Destination Pickering be received; 1. That Organizational By-Law No.1 for Destination Pickering, with an effective date of December 1, 2025, as set out in Attachment 1, be approved; 2. That Policy ADM 300 – Asset Transfers to Municipal Services Corporations, as set out in Attachment 2, be approved; 3. That the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to execute the Service Level Agreement between the City and Destination Pickering Inc. as set out in Attachment 3; and, 4. That the appropriate officials of the City of Pickering be authorized to take the actions necessary to implement the recommendations in this report. 5. Council Meeting Minutes November 24, 2025
