whether the City was able to proceed with the utility relocations, culvert design, and the property acquisition; • the need for a mechanism to ensure safe crossings; • the level of authority that was provided to OPG through the Agreement; • whether there were any penalties to OPG for not meeting the requirements set out in the Agreement; and, • whether the City was able to terminate the agreement. • Moved By Councillor Brenner Seconded By Councillor Cook That the City of Pickering enter into a Road Servicing Agreement with Ontario Power Generation Inc. to facilitate the design, approvals and construction for the rehabilitation of Sandy Beach Road from south of Bayly Street to Montgomery Park Road, and the reconstruction of Montgomery Park Road from Sandy Beach Road to approximately 400m east and south of McKay Road; 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the Road Servicing Agreement between the City of Pickering and Ontario Power Generation Inc. in substantially the same form as attached to this report, subject to revisions acceptable to the Director, Engineering Services, the Director, City Infrastructure and the Director, Corporate Services & City Solicitor; and, 2. That the appropriate officials of the City of Pickering be authorized to take the actions necessary to implement the recommendations in this report. 3.
